Can I see video views for a carousel that includes video?

Unfortunately, if you post a carousel with a video, you won’t be able to see the video views specific to that post. What for? This is simply because this data is not available through the Instagram API.

So, what will you see as metrics? Well, they will be identical to those of a classic (non-video) publication. For example, you’ll have access to likes, comments, impressions, etc.

One important small detail to note: if you include this type of post in one of your reports, don’t be surprised to see a “0” or “-” or “NC” for the video display metric. It’s not that your video hasn’t been seen, it’s just that this specific data isn’t accessible.
