The best time to post on Instagram
Instagram lets us tell you the time and day when your followers are most active (online on the app). Based on this information, we create a graph for you, divided into hours and days using a color system. The darker the purple color, the more your subscribers are online during that period.
Data is updated over a rolling 7-day period.

From this table, we can also deduce the best time to publish your content for each day of the week.

Performance
In this section, you will find some data related to your posts such as :
- range per day of the week
- reach per hour
- range by post format
- TOP5 posts with the best engagement
Range by day of week
Here’s a detailed explanation of our analysis of Instagram post reach by day of the week:
Analyzed scope :
- We measure total reach, including both organic and paid reach.
- This analysis concerns only posts published over a 7-day period, from Monday to Sunday.
Calculation method :
- For each post, we track its daily reach for the 7 days following publication.
- Important: Only posts with a “lifetime” of at least 7 days are taken into account in our calculations.
Case in point:
- If a post was published 3 days ago, it will not yet be included in our analysis.
- We wait until a post has at least 7 days of data before including it in our statistics.
First synchronization with Dailyfy :
- Please be patient when you log on for the first time!
- It will take up to 14 days for the graph to fully complete.
- This period allows us to collect complete and reliable data on all your recent posts.
Scope according to post format
Dailyfy allows you to analyze the total reach of your Instagram posts according to the format used, namely :
