How to enable YouTube moderation?

To filter YouTube comments:

• Click on the moderation tab (envelope icon)
• Click on your profile bar then select your YouTube profile.
• or go through Filter → Social Network → YouTube.

A YouTube icon appears to the right of the profile picture of each person who left a YouTube comment.

What can I do with Dailyfy for YouTube moderation?

• Reply to comments on your standard videos or Shorts
• Approve/reject YouTube comments directly from Dailyfy.
• Reply to comments (text only, emojis accepted ✅).
• Delete your own comments (⚠️ you cannot delete others’, YouTube API limitation). To do this, click on the link under the comment that redirects you to YouTube.
• Quarantine hateful messages detected by MagicDaily (if YouTube approval option is enabled). You can then manually approve them from the Quarantine tab.
• Accept or refuse comment publication, this option must be checked in your YouTube channel settings (see last chapter).
• Ban a YouTube user (coming soon)

What are the limitations of YouTube moderation with Dailyfy?

• If a comment is not approved, it will not appear.
• Unable to like comments (YouTube API limitation)
• Unable to hide a comment (YouTube API limitation)
• Replies beyond level 1 are automatically linked to the parent comment (limitation imposed by YouTube API).
• Unable to post images in replies, only text and emojis.

How does YouTube comment synchronization work?

• Synchronization starts as soon as you connect your YouTube account to Dailyfy.
• Comments are synchronized approximately every 30 minutes.

Recommended settings on YouTube

We recommend configuring your YouTube account to manually accept or reject comments. This will allow our MagicDaily AI to have a good approval process as we cannot hide comments on YouTube. 👉 Link to the official YouTube tutorial
