How do I mention an Instagram profile?
Limits of the Instagram API
Due to Instagram limitations, Dailyfy cannot auto-complete or spell-check usernames. Be sure to check the spelling of your personal account usernames before saving.
You can mention a page by typing @pagename” (just like on Instagram), our system will search for available accounts and find the specific mention.
Due to an API limitation, we are unable to search and display personal Instagram accounts. If we don’t find a profile using our search function, please enter the exact name of your account after the @.
You’ll find this username by going to the Instagram page to mention (public profile only):

However, you can always enter the Instagram handle manually and correctly, and the account will be mentioned accordingly once the publication is published.
Since on Instagram, the "@" is kept in front of the name when it's tagged, even though the account you're looking for may not appear as suggested if it's the correct handle, it will be tagged once published.
Instagram profile search via Dailyfy
On Dailyfy, you can search for a profile directly from our platform. We use multiple databases to match your search with an existing Instagram profile.
This option is available via unitary and universal mentions.
If, after searching for your entry (by clicking on the search button), you see an exclamation mark, this means that your entry has not been verified. We invite you to click on the link on the right to check on Instagram if the profile exists.
Sometimes our database can’t find the right person or profile to mention. In this case, you can always manually retrieve the information from Instagram, as explained in the section above, and add it.
